Information for Presenting Companies

Registration

The fee BioFinance 2010 Presenters is $650.00 Cdn including GST. This fee includes 1 presentation slot and 1 speaker admission to the entire conference and is due by .

Presenters must first submit an online request to present. [If you have not done so, go to http://www.biofinance.ca/Register and click “Submit Request to Present”]. We will notify you if your request is accepted and provide you with login information and payment instructions.

Company Profile

We require your company profile for inclusion on our website and program handouts. Your login information will give the ability to post your own company profile online. The maximum is 500 words. In order for us to meet our printing deadline, the deadline for posting or editing your company profile is Friday, March 26, 2010.

How to Post Your Company Profile online
A presenter's login account will be provided once you have been approved as a Presenter.
1. Log in to your Presenters account
2. Select ACCOUNT UPDATE
3. Complete company information sections: Company Profile, Strategy, IP, Programs, Investors, Management Team, Presenter Bio.
4. Click "update" to update your account.

Presentation

In preparing your presentation, we suggest that you consider the following:

  • the audience will be primarily financial and be interested in the business of your company
  • the presentation slot is 30 minutes including questions and answers
  • the presentation should include:
    • •Company Focus
    •Technology Platform
    •Business Strategy
    •Products in Development
    •Validation (ie IP Position, Partnerships, Pipeline, Clinical Status)
    •Current and Upcoming Milestones

Presentation Format

  • Please provide your presentations in PowerPoint. We have excellent technicians who will up load the presentations in advance. They will also have a Speaker Ready Room at registration to take care of last minute changes and will be in the presentation rooms for any problems.
  • To ensure that the conference runs as smoothly as possible, we are requesting that all presentations be emailed in advance. The following email address has been established to receive your files biofinance@equicomgroup.com . We request that you e-mail your presentation on or before Monday, April 5, 2010, 6:00 pm EST.
  • At the conference, laptops and projectors screens will be set up in each presentation room so there is no requirement to bring your own laptop.

    • Corporate Literature

    For the networking event at the conference, it will be useful to bring with you or ship in advance 50 copies of your corporate literature.

    Partnering Rooms

    There will be meeting spaces available for use by all Presenters and Participants. Staff will be available to assist you make onsite reservations during the conference.

    Hotel Accommodations

    A special group rate for BioFinance has been negotiated with the Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre Hotel, where the conference is being held. The room rate is $175.00 plus taxes per night and the block booking covering the nights of April 6 and April 7, 2010, is only available until March 29, 2010. We encourage you to book early as there are only a limited number of rooms blocked for this conference.
