Presenter Bio

Dr. Bloch has served as NeurAxon, Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer since 2007 raising $40.75 million in equity in NeurAxon's Series B financing. From 2004 to 2006 he served as Chief Business Officer and Chief Financial Officer of NitroMed, Inc., raising $150 million in equity and $20 million in debt to support company growth from 40 to 300 employees including an exclusively dedicated contract sales force for the commercial launch of BiDil. From 2000 to 2004 he served as Chief Financial Officer, and from 1999 to 2002 as Vice President of Business Development, of Applied Molecular Evolution, Inc., leading AME's $101.6 million IPO to support company growth from 18 to 135 employees and AME's $420 million merger with Eli Lilly and Company. Dr. Bloch earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School, an M.D. from Harvard Medical School and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
