Urigen Holdings Inc. (“UHI” or “Urigen” or “the Company”), a British Columbia Corporation, is a privately-held specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development of innovative products for urology indications.

The Company has assembled a highly experienced management team to implement the Company’s business plan. The Urigen team collectively has over 100 years of experience in the financing, development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products.

Urigen’s lead product platform, U101, is a novel and proprietary therapy consisting of FDA-approved components for the treatment of pelvic pain and urgency of bladder origin.

The prevalence of chronic pelvic pain in North America is estimated to be 10.5 million, of which 3.8 million would experience severe symptoms. Rosenberg and Hazzard (J. Urol 174:2231-2234, 2005) reported in a population-based study of over 1,000 female primary care patients that prevalence rates for patients experiencing urinary symptoms related to pelvic pain and urgency/frequency may be significantly higher than previous estimates from a Finnish mail-in study (J. Urol 168:139, 2002).

In a successful Phase IIa (open label) clinical trial in patients with chronic pelvic pain of bladder origin, U101 provided near-immediate symptom relief in 94% of patients, with 80% reporting sustained relief of pain and urgency (J. Urol 65: 45-48, 2005).

Dr. Garner is an experienced entrepreneur and the founder and managing director of EGB Advisors, LLC, a pharmaceutical investment banking and commercialization boutique. Dr. Garner has held positions in Medical Affairs at Roche Labs and in venture capital at Paramount Capital Investments in New York City. Dr. Garner has a Master of Public Health from Harvard and received his MD degree from New York Medical College. He trained in Anatomic Pathology at Columbia-Presbyterian and is currently a licensed physician in the state of New York.
